Webcam Settings version 2.0 is available now.
What's new in version 1.2
General Improvements
- Settings of the camera will be stored automatically and restored the next time the app is launched.
- Slider positions will be updated automatically when "Auto Exposure Mode", "Auto White Balance" or "Auto Focus" is on.
- Add customization code to support non-standard "Exposure Time" and "Manual Focus" control for Logitech Webcam Pro 9000.
Started using ver. 1.2 on my iMac and now after the imac 'sleeps' the webcam no longer works... I tested the iMac/webcam without your software and the cam works after sleep (unless your software was running)...
ReplyDeleteHow do I 'downgrade' to the prior version?
Plus it never has 'saved and applied' the saved settings when using Google+ Hangouts.
I figured out the "sleep" issue in version 1.2 and sent you 1.3b1. Can you test if 1.3b1 fixed the issue?
Deletedo you know if the c920 will work with Mountain Lion on the LWS Software? The c910 LWS software no longer works in ML. Although I can still use QuickTime, I cant take 1080p videos like with the LWS software.
ReplyDeleteLWS is developed with Qt and feels very un-Mac-like. I don't use it at all. To answer your question I downloaded and tested LWS 2.2.13 on Mac OS X 10.8.2. It refuse to work with C920 but works OK with C910.
DeleteSo which software do you remlecommend for taking 1080p videos?
ReplyDeleteI wrote a small app to help me record videos at any webcam supported resolution. Maybe I should consider to make it a commercial app?
DeleteYes please! I'll be happy to beta test :)
ReplyDeletePlease send me an email at mactaris@mac.com. I will let you know when it's available.
